Once upon a time there was a crazy mad pumpkin. This pumpkin would haunt any body who ever put a knife near pumpkin to make a jack o’lantern. He would haunt them from the day they put a knife into the pumpkin until they draw breath no more. From that day on he haunts somebody else, then the next, then the next, and so on and so on. Remember always sleep with one eye open.

  3. Marissa H says:

Eenie Meenie was a humungous pumpkin. He was very mean and made fun of all the other pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. When October came, a family picked him from the patch. They took him home and put him outside in the cold. He would pick up rocks with his stem and throw them at other pumpkins. The day before Halloween, the family carved Eenie Meenie, making him look fierce and tough. On Halloween, he became meaner than ever and threw rocks at teenagers. That was a mistake because they smashed Eenie Meenie. He wasn’t so tough after all.

  4. Christine L. says:

Once there was a young scienctist that was bored one day and thought "hey, I am going to make a giant pumpkin!" So he thought how he was going to do this and he decided to put some sort of chemical so it would amplify in size.  He did the experiment and then went to bed. During the night he heard a noise coming from the lab. He decided to go investigate.  He went down stairs and found a twenty foot pumpkin in front of him. He yelled "pumpzilla" and ran!  They never saw this young scienctist ever again.

  5. Ben L. says:

Joe laughed, and rang the door- bell again. This time no one answered. bob got out a box of eggs and just as he was abot to throw one a pumkin shot out of the door and hit Bob in the arm. Bob was rushed to the hospital. Later he learned he had a broken wrist. He and Joe now stay away from that house.

The sign said: “Homeless, Hungry”, his face said: “Please Help”, everyone else said: “Look away”.
He was a war veteran, who protected our borders, so we could be safe. Yet, we turned our backs. A little girl walked by. She saw he looked lonely, and offered him some of her candy. Touched by her affection, he gave her a kiss on her head and a pumpkin. As she walked home, the pumpkin began to shine like the light of dawn. The pumpkin slices parted, and magic seeds of peace appeared. She planted the seeds and hope for a peaceful world.

  9. AJ Mercer says:

    The Evil Pumpkin Attack
Once there was a pumpkin patch that was giving away free pumpkins.  Everyone got as much pumpkins from the patch as they could hold.  A little kid got the biggest  pumpkin from the patch.  Right when he got home he started carving, but when he was done the pumpkin came to life.  Every pumpkin from the patch came to life once people carved them.  All of the pumpkins stole candy from everyone.  Once they ate candy they grew bigger.  Then, they attacked.            To be continued…………….

  10. Laura I says:

Pumpkins are an orange fruit that originated from Central America, but are now grown in 6 continents. They're mainly used to create spooky jack-o-lanterns in North America, to celebrate Hallaween, but they're also used to make certain recipes, such as pumkin pie. A serving of pumpkin has half a gram of fat, much potassium, A vitimans, and fiber. They also have approximately 500 seeds. I hope you learned a couple of intresting facts about pumpkins, and have a joyous Hallaween!

  11. Logan says:

Jack the Pumpkin was at the grocery store. ” I hope that I’m carved into a jack o’ lantern!” he thought hopefully. Then a fat man came over to Jack and put him in his empty cart. ” Oh no! I don’t want to be eaten!” he thought in terror. The man’s house was decorated with scary skeletons. A little girl was waiting for Jack. I’m going to be made into a jack o’ lantern!” Jack thought. ” Boo!” he said to passing kids. Jack was finally a jack o’ lantern!

  12. Nika says:

Once upon a time there was a pumpkin named Sam. Sam was sold to a woman who was doing terrible things using hundreds of pumpkins. Sam saw exactly what she was doing and contacted all of the pumpkins he knew. They each got there and developed a plan to, first make all her pumpkins fallow them to they’re hometown and live there for the rest of their lives. Then take all her notes and experiments away and put them in someone’s garbage. They fallowed they’re plans and they succeeded. Then they called the police to make sure she was arrested.

  13. Katie says:

    The Great Costume Idea.
I wanted to be something special for Halloween. I didn't want to be a monster. Too many of my friends were being those. So I decided to browse through some magazines. But I found nothing. I thought about some costume ideas. I couldn't think of something unusual. Then my mom yelled "pumpkin carving time!", and I had an idea. So, the next day I told my mom my idea. She agreed to make my costume. By Halloween it was finished.
"Wow. What a great costume", my friend said. "Nobody in our our class went as a pumpkin."

  14. Brian C. says:

Pubert was a pumpkin different from the rest. His master never took him in after Halloween. He never made funny faces for children to laugh at. He made sad faces and didn't please anybody.  He was sad because he had nobody to share his life with. Then he saw the pumpkin that changed his life. She had been put out by the neighbors, and it was love at first sight. He rolled over to her and said he liked her smile. She said she liked his nose. They rolled away and lived happily ever after in the countryside.

  15. Jackie M. says:

A lonely jack-o-lantern I am. Sitting alone on someones porch. I live in sorrow every day. I hear all the happy birds chirping while eating their seed. Oh why a lonely pumpkin I am to be. Asleep for the year, I wake up on halloween. What a terrible life, you know what I mean? One day, I saw something across the street. Another Jack-o-Lantern!  She waves as she rolls about across the, way. When she gets to me I say “Hey!” Lonely no more! Now I have a friend, that I must thank her for.

  16. Michael S-H says:

I walked to him silently. The man looked up at me,’’Would you like a pumpkin?” That was the reason I was there. I took a pumpkin and took the top off immediately. Buried in the seeds was a purple gemstone. I took it out and squeezed it. It melted in my hands and dripped onto the floor. It burned right through and kept going until it was 5 feet down. Pumpkins started appearing out of nowhere and rose up to the ground level. The pumpkins turned into a monster and swallowed my house. I am scared of pumpkins forever.

Once, there was a wise, young girl. On the way home, she found a bright purple pumpkin. The pumpkin had words carved into it saying ‘Do not use this for greed, but for your needs.’ As the girl picked up the pumpkin, a greenish light swirled around her. ‘You have a wish…..” Said the drawling voice. “A wish that can do anything you want….” The whole week, the girl thought of nothing but the words that the pumpkin had said. Cleverly, she used her wish to make the pumpkin go away forever so that none could use it in greediness.

THE PUMKIN WITHOUT A STEM by Sophie Regina
The Pumpkin without a stem was ugly. It dreamed that one day on Halloween night and he was a jack-o-lantern. Then all of the sudden he heard a plop and he dropped into a wheelbarrow. The entire Town had come to pick pumpkins from Farmer John’s pumpkin patch. He felt like his dream was going to come true. It looked like he was wrong. Then, a girl named Sally said, “If I put a hat on this pumpkin he would look great!” All of the other people said, “Good Idea!” so they ripped of the stem of their pumpkin and put a hat on it. Now pumpkin without a stem is famous!

There once was a pumpkin Albert that was petrified at everything and screamed. He was like this since he was a baby pumpkin. Then one day October 31st came. The owner of the pumkin was sick of his screaming so he put Albert outside. When he got outside he thought it was a nice experience. But when it hit midnight Albert screamed. The owner cooked him that night because his ears hurt so much. The owner had a lot of potassium, vitamin A, fiber and protein from the pumpkin. Who knew pumpkins were so good and healthy!

Then, Bill fell in. The next day Bill woke up and asked Mrmuffleman where they were. He didn’t know but he told Bill he had found natural resources. After living there, for years, one day they saw a man. They asked when he entered. He said not long. They ran out the opening. Then it closed. 35. Pumpkinhead :) says:

Pumpkin. My dad always called me that.  Such a sweet name, but I never understood why pumpkin was a term of endearment.  Honey, I understand because it is sweet.  But, pumpkin?  It always puzzled me.  Regardless, I knew when my dad called out "Pumpkin", he meant me…his favorite daughter.
Pumpkinhead. A boy down the street, Rich, called me that one day.  He said my head was so big, he could put it on his porch for Halloween and no one would know the difference. Now I do have a good-sized head, but it was the 80's and big hair was in, so that just made my head look extra large.  Well, the comment got such a laugh that the name stuck.  Everyone called me Pumpkinhead.  After awhile, the name got shortened to Pumpkin.  To this day, whenever I see my friend Rich, he calls me Pumpkin…a sweet name that always make me smile!
